Metals X is committed to being an equal opportunity employer and to develop the culture, protocols and procedures to ensure there is an efficient and effective incident reporting process which can be used by all employees, contractors and external stakeholders associated with our operations.

An incidents of discrimination or harassment by a Metals X staff member or contractor is against the law and unacceptable. Metals X staff and contractors have the right to work in an environment that is free from discrimination and harassment.

Metals X views discrimination and harassment issues seriously and any complaint or enquiry will be dealt with promptly, impartially and confidentially. Anyone experiencing or witnessing behaviour that may be discrimination or harassment should talk to a Supervisor, Manager or an EEO Contact Officer (see Appointed Persons noticeboards).

Discrimination or harassment is when one person is treated less favourably than another due to their sex, pregnancy, race, family status, family responsibility, marital status, sexual preference, disability, impairment, age, political or religious conviction, trade union activity or irrelevant criminal record.

This policy applies to all Metals X staff, contractors or company agents, in all places and facilities that are provided for, or by, Metals X. This includes any place where Metals X Staff, Contractors or Company agents are required to be for Metals X work–related purposes.
